    I paid for a voucher several years ago, awaiting the State of Florida / University of Alabama license plates to be approved and released.
    What is the status?

      Hi Roger: At the end of January, it was reported we had about 500 more license plate vouchers to sell before they can go into production. So fingers crossed – should be soon!

    I live in Pensacola FL and I have purchased a total of 6 vouchers for my two vehicles (3 for each). I was wondering if someone could keep me posted when we reach the required number of vouchers sold and when we can get our tags?

      The Pensacola alumni chapter is actually the one driving this. I would reach out to them directly for more up to date information about where we are in the voucher process. And don’t worry, many, many announcements will be made once we get there!

    I paid during pre-sale… will the state send me a voucher for the balance or when will I know the plates are available to go pickup?

      Hi Donald, this is what I was told: “Tags are expected to be available at your local tax collector/tag office in around 90 days. Contact your local tax collector for your availability based on your specific renewal period and any personalized plate inquiries.”

    Hello, I am a Bama student living in florida trying to purchase a bama plate. When I go to Tagitbamas website to buy a plate it isn’t an option to purchase. How do I get a plate?

      Hi Rory! The TagItBama web site linked to the voucher site. Now that we have met the voucher goal, you can request the new UA license plate directly from your local DMV. I’m told they started shipping out across the state last week!
